The Center for Global Development (CGD) has included a paper by Feisal Khan, assistant professor of economics, on its list of Essential Readings on Pakistan.The CGD has been described by Foreign Policy magazine as one of the 15 most influential think tanks in D.C. Khans paper, Water, Governance and Corruption in Pakistan, is included as a chapter in the book, Running on Empty: Pakistans Water Crisis,by Michael Kugelman and Robert M. Hathaway, editors (Washington, D.C., Woodrow Wilson Center Press, 2009, pp. 82-104).

Khans article is among only five on the list under the topic of energy, water and infrastructure. The CGD describes the list as works the study group has found especially helpful in understanding the challenges of development in Pakistan.

Khan joined the HWS faculty in 2000 after earning his B.A. and M.A. from Stanford University and his Ph.D. from Southern California.
