On Tuesday, Oct. 27, the Office of Intercultural Affairs and the Salisbury Center for Career Services Office present the annual Health Professions Panel, Journeys to a Career in Medicine at 7 p.m. in the Office of Intercultural Affairs, 288 Pulteney St.
The panel will include Dr. Lisa Harris, MD a pediatric internist at Temple Medical in Rochester, N.Y. and Maralie Deprinvil 10 and Ryan Young 11.
The Health Professions Advisory Program at HWS is an accredited prehealth curriculum that is recognized by graduate school programs and prepares students for admission tests as well as research positions. The program provides clinical internships, skill training and community service experiences along with assistance during the application process in the form of editing help, workshops, test preparation and mock interviews.
