Political Science Internship Panel
22 September 2009 Political Science Internship Panel
Did you ever wonder what it would be like to intern for a senator, a legislator, or even a presidential candidate? Several of your fellow HWS students spent their summer break doing just that, and would like to share their experiences with you.
On Wednesday, Sept. 30, the Department of Political Science and the Salisbury Center for Career Services will cosponsor a Political Science Internship Panel at 7:30 p.m. in the Sanford Room of the Warren Hunting Smith Library.
Were doing this panel to show the mixture, the blend of jobs and internships available, says Professor of Political Science Iva Deutchman.
Come learn how students found their internships, what they learned, and how they made the most of their experiences during the summer.
Panelists include Brian Horn 12 (Senator Chuck Schumers Office); Michael Barlow 11 (Morgan Stanley); Jarrid Blades 12 (Town of Wawaring Justice Court); Nicole Caravella 10 (Senator Ted Kennedy, Press Secretarys Office); and Kelsey Lagana 10 (New York Council for the Humanities).
If you would like to attend, please email cso@hws.edu to reserve a seat.
