The presidential election may be long over but that doesnt mean its time to stop thinking politics. If youre looking for a chance to discuss international events and global politics, then stop by Irenes Coffee and Jazz House on Wednesday, April 29, when Americans for an Informed Democracy (AID) will hold the second Irenes Political Discussion of the semester.
This time, the discussion will shift to The Global Perspective: Is America the Problem? Assistant Professor of Political Science Vikash Yadav, Assistant Professor of Political Science Stacey Philbrick Yadav, and Professor of Political Science David Ost, among other faculty, will be on hand to share their opinions.
In the past, the highly-successful discussions have focused primarily on the presidential election; now, AID hopes to shed a spotlight on global politics, adding to the overall awareness of politics on the HWS campus.
The discussion begins at 7:30 p.m. at Irenes Coffee and Jazz House. Everyone is welcome to attend.
