Service-learning, a corner stone of the HWS experience, will take center stage during Service Learning in Geneva: A Panel Discussion on Tuesday, May 6. The event, a combining of the popular Cross Cultural Coffee House and Faculty Fireside Chat series, will take place at 5 p.m. in the Intercultural Affairs Center, 288 Pulteney Street. During the hour-long gathering, Dubary Brea 10, Esthfanie Giordano 10, Tirsa Monge 08, Veronica Mora 08 and Jenny Quirindongo 08 will discuss their semester-long community service projects alongside leaders from the local agencies whove worked with them, including Agri-Business Child Development (ABCD), Geneva High School, Finger Lakes Health and Women Infant and Children (WIC). Director of Intercultural Affairs and Assistant Professor of Spanish and Hispanic Studies Alejandra Molina will moderate the discussion. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
