Seven members of the Hobart and William Smith Colleges classes of 1982 will speak at a Career Panel, beginning at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 at the Lehman Brothers office, 745 Seventh Ave., in Manhattan.
The program is being planned so that a group of 1982 alumni and alumnae can talk about their career journey 25 years later: starts, stops, changes, successes and failures.
Hosted by Mark Shapiro, a managing director in the global restructuring group at Lehman Brothers, speakers are expected to include:
Sharon Gitelle, membership and audience retention manager at Forbes, Inc.;
Henry Jackson, deputy commissioner in New York City's Office of Emergency Management;
Holman Jenkins, a writer and senior editor at The Wall Street Journal;
Joseph Kyrillos, a New Jersey state senator;
Andrew Nelson, an attorney and partner at Sidney Austin LLP; and
Mallory Weil, director of direct marketing at Coach Leatherware Co.
