11 April 2007 Anwar featured in documentary on American Muslims

Etin Anwar, assistant professor of religious studies, will be featured in WXXIs upcoming documentary: Muslim Women in our Midst: the Path of Understanding. The program, hosted by Julie Philipp, will explore Rochesters historic connection to the international womens rights movement and the modern impact of that movement on Muslim women.

The documentary is the first in an eleven part series America at a Crossroads.

The program airs on WXXI-TV 21 (cable 11) on Friday April 13 at 9 p.m. and Sunday April 15 at 12:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
