1 March 2007 Perkins talks on Social Norms in Arizona

H. Wesley Perkins of the anthropology/sociology department spoke about a survey of middle school and high school students' drug and alcohol abuse and their perception of their peers' use at a recent program in Tucson, Ariz.

Perkins created the survey given to the students and is one of the primary researchers of the Social Norms approach to preventing school and college-age substance abuse.
