The staff of the Geneva Historical Society will present a talk, Preserving Your Personal Archive, at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, at the Prouty-Chew Museum on South Main Street.
Curator John Marks and Archivist Karen Osburn will talk about identifying and preserving personal documents (letters, newspaper clippings and photographs), what information to save and where to find appropriate storage materials.
They will also show examples of dos and donts from the societys archives, and will answer specific questions from the audience.
This program is being offered in conjunction with the Geneva Historical Societys current exhibit, Why Archives Matter. For details, call the museum office at (315) 789-5151.
