Peter Cummings, professor of English and comparative literature now has word that the University of Iowa Press will release In a Fine Frenzy: Poets Respond to Shakespeare on Shakespeare's birthday, April 23, 2005. The book contains 90 poems by 120 contemporary American poets. Cummings's part in the volume is a sonnet, Hamlet to Ophelia, imagined as a letter Hamlet writes to Ophelia about his ambiguous love.
