Nicholas H. Ruth, assistant professor of art, had two paintings selected by jurors Al Bremmer and Sarah McCoubrey for inclusion in Made in New York, 2004, at the Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center in Auburn. Made in New York, 2004 is an annual regional juried exhibition, open to all artists who reside in New York state. Ruth's two paintings, Metasemaphore and Gantlet, are from his series exploring the juxtaposition of different ways of representing space. Made in New York, 2004 is on view at the Schweinfurth through Aug. 22.
