Thelma Pinto participated in the spring Special Topics seminar of the Institute of African Development at Cornell University on Thursday, May 6. The series is titled Reassessing the Issues: Participation, Governance and Development in Africa.
Her paper on South African Women was very well received by a group of about 25 graduate students and seven faculty members.
