Cedric Johnson, assistant professor of political science, has accepted a post-doctoral fellowship for the 2004-2005 academic year at the University of Rochester's Frederick Douglass Institute for African and African American Studies. He plans to use the fellowship to complete his book project, Black Power Redux: Race Leaders and Radicalism After Segregation (University of Minnesota Press, forthcoming).
