Parish Chairs National Science Foundation Review Panel
8 March 2004 Parish Chairs National Science Foundation Review Panel
Carol Parish, associate professor of chemistry, recently chaired a National Science Foundation Review Panel in the Course Curriculum and Laboratory Improvement (CCLI) program. The panel was responsible for reading proposals and making funding recommendations to NSF staff.
Parish is in the chemistry department at Cornell University this year working on quantum mechanical investigations of anticancer drugs called enediynes. This work will further the understanding of the complex reactions of these drugs and will be used to design better anticancer therapies.
