On Feb. 21, Professor Margaret Weitekamp, Assistant Director of Public Service Jenna Logue, and two William Smith sophomores, Freya Hoffman-Terry and Annerys Rodriquez, attended the Mid-Atlantic Women's Studies Association Conference at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pa., where they presented a panel discussion titled Service-Learning in a Small Town: Teaching, Learning, and Connecting Through Women's Studies in Upstate New York. The conference featured Mary Catherine Bateson, who gave the keynote speech. Bateson is the daughter of Margaret Meade and currently teaches at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
