14 January 2004 Bidisciplinary Course Leads to Book Chapter

Professors Kevin Mitchell (mathematics) and Jim Ryan (biology) recently had a chapter published in Tools for Teaching, the 2003 edition published by the Consortium for Mathematics and Its Applications (COMAP). COMAP is an award-winning non-profit organization whose mission is to improve mathematics education. The chapter, Game Theory Models of Animal Behavior, is based on a unit that Mitchell and Ryan developed for their bidisciplinary course Math Models of Biological Systems. This chapter is one of four publications that have resulted from their bidisciplinary course.
