2 May 2003 Perkins Gives Keynote Address for California State Unversity System Conference

On April 25 Wesley Perkins, professor of sociology, was invited to give the keynote address for the California State University systems annual Conference of Alcohol Advisory Councils in Sacramento, Calif. His address was titled Pursuing Science-Based Strategies To Reduce Campus Alcohol Abuse: The Promise and Challenge of Social Norms Interventions. The California State University system is the largest university system in the country. The conference was attended by presidents, vice presidents, student life administrators, counselors and health education coordinators from the various institutions within the CSU system.
