Wesley Perkins, professor of sociology, was a speaker in three panel sessions on social norm approaches to health promotion at the Annual Meeting of the American College Personnel Association on April 1-2 in Minneapolis. The sessions focused on 1) theory and research, 2) small group and all-campus implementation strategies, and 3) evidence of effectiveness and common controversies. Perkins and David Craig, professor of chemistry, presented a workshop on Using Social Norms to Improve the Lives of Student-Athletes at the same conference.
