Christopher Gunn, professor of economics, gave a talk on Local Economic Development: A Role for the Third Sector on March 26 in the Ulysses Philomathic Library's Melvin Community Room as part of the library's monthly speaker series, Expanding Our Boundaries: Alternative Ways of Being, Thinking and Doing. He focused on the role of non-profits and cooperatives in local economies.
