24 March 2003 Anderson Presents at Cinema and Media Studies Conference

Assistant Professor of English Mark Lynn Anderson presented his work on early Hollywood, the politics of social feminist reform, and the films of Dorothy Davenport Reid in a paper titled Writing the Sins of the World with Mrs. Wallace Reid, at the annual Society for Cinema and Media Studies conference held in Minneapolis, Minn., March 6-9, 2003. Anderson is currently writing The Hollywood Life of Dorothy Davenport Reid, a monograph on this pioneer actress, screen writer, director, and producer.
