18 March 2003 Walters Speaks at International Conference in Cuba

Andy Walters, assistant professor of psychology, was an invited speaker at an international conference, the 16th World Congress of Sexology, sponsored by World Association for Sexology and the World Health Organization. The conference was held March 8-14 in Havana, Cuba. Walters gave two presentations: The Social Context of Young Gay Men on Health Behavior and Relationship Satisfaction: Results from the Mpowerment Project, and The Process of Coming Out and the Psychological Adjustment of Young Gay Men: Longitudinal Data from Men in Three Cities.

In addition, he was also the United States' representative as symposium chair for the section Determinants of Human Sexual Behavior: Field Studies.
