Catherine Gallout, professor of French and francophone studies, has just had an article, Lesprit de la rue et le spectacle de lecriture, published in the journal Revue Marivaux, Points de vue americains sur les 'Journaux', (http://www.revuemarivaux.org/actucorpus.php?p=228), and a book chapter, Les narrateurs de Marivaux et linvention des romans, in the volume Marivaux subversif?, ed. Franck Salan, Paris, Editions Desjonqures, 2003, p. 87-96. Both pieces deal with the rhetoric of fiction in early XVIIIth c. France.
