12 February 2003 Biology Student Has Two Scientific Papers Published

Biology major Jeff Talbot 04 is a co-author on two scientific papers based on his summer internship at Duke University Medical Center last summer. Talbot worked with Dr. David Rizzieri 87, a former biology major who received his medical degree from The University of Rochester and is now at the Division of Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation at Duke University Medical Center. Their research involves acute myeloid leukemia and resulted in publication in the American Journal of Hematology and a second in the Biology of Blood and Marrow Transplantation.
