Catherine Gallouts article Le coup de foudre dans le roman franais du XVIIIe sicle; une comparaison entre romans feminins et masculins, is being published online at www.roquade.nl/womenwriters. This site hosts a project Les ecrivains femmes et leurs publics on a Web site called Reseaux de romancires/Women Writers' Networks, connected to the databank WomenWriters at the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
Her 1992 article, L'Invitation au voyage, ou la dynamique du double registre dans les Journaux, was reprinted in etudes sur les Journaux de Marivaux, ed. Nicholas Cronk et Franois Moureau, Oxford, Voltaire Foundation, Vif, 2001, 141-144.
In November '01, Gallout was one of the speakers at the XVth international meeting of the Societe dAnalyse de la topique Romanesque, which met at the Ecole Normale Superieure in Paris; her presentation, Letat sauvage: la geographie romanesque de Marivaux, analysed the different geographies in early 18th c. French fiction and their link to the different forms of contemporary fiction.
In December '01, Gallout also gave a paper at a special session of the French 18th c. Division of the MLA, Lesprit de la rue et le spectacle de lecriture dans les Journaux de Marivaux, an analysis of Marivauxs aesthetics.
