Dan McGowan, professor of economics and founder of Deir Yassin Remembered, spoke on Understanding Deir Yassin: The Road to Peace in Israel/Palestine at the University of Vermont. His talk was co-sponsored by Vermonters for a Just Peace in Palestine/Israel, the Burlington-Bethlehem-Arad Sister City Project, the International Socialist Organization, Pax Christi Burlington, Toward Freedom, and the Womens International League for Peace and Freedom, Burlington Chapter. McGowan is co-editor of the book Remembering Deir Yassin.
