President Mark Gearan was quoted in David Shribman's article Lessons Remembered, printed in US Airways Attache. In the story Shribman includes several peoples' memories of the teacher who changed their lives. Gearan remembers Sister Michael Agnes. She was my first-grade teacher in Gardner, Mass., and even at a young age, I understood that her entire life revolved around the six rows of seven kids in our class.
