11 March 2002 Young and Bartels Attended Technology Conference

Brian Young, vice president for information technology, and Frank Bartels, Enterprise manager/network manager, attended a technology conference sponsored by Gateway Computers and hosted by DuPage Community College outside Chicago, Ill., on March 3 and 4. Co-sponsors were Microsoft and Intel corporations. During the event, Tom Fitzgerald, vice president of public sector sales, invited the Colleges to join Gateways Corporate Advisory Council. This eight-member committee meets quarterly to focus on educational and public sector issues in the industry.
