Geneva, NY Sen Curran, internationally renowned choreographer and dancer, will be in residence at Hobart and William Smith Colleges April 30 May 1. The residency will culminate with Sean Curran in an Evening of Solos at 8 p.m., Friday, May 1, in the Winn-Seeley Gym Theatre. Tickets, available at the door, are: general admission $5; HWS faculty and staff $4; HWS students, senior citizens, and children $2.

The Village Voice critic Gus Solomons described Curran's performing: rock solid and kinetics-wise Sen Curran is dynamicmini-size and maxi-power.

A principal dancer with the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company for several years, Curran has, for the past four years, been a member of the off-Broadway percussion extravaganza Stomp. He has presented his own choreography to critical acclaim and has performed his evening of solo dances internationally. He is a graduate of and faculty member at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
