I am interested in the economic development of Nigeria and the Third World in the global economy. I have traveled extensively over the past 30 years to Africa and Asia to do research on large and small scale industrial development, urbanization and general economic development issues.

I speak, read, and write the Hausa language which is widely spoken in West Africa.
