French Placement Test Information

In order to place you appropriately in French next semester, we will need you to take the placement test. It is a very short test and should not take more than 15 minutes or so to complete. Here are the instructions:

  1. Go to https://app.emmersion.ai/link/27f7c4477c
  2. Create an account (or, if you have an account, log in)
  3. Choose French for language and click begin
  4. Fill out the language questionnaire, and begin the test

To ensure accurate results on the test, please do not use dictionaries, the internet, or any other resources. Please take the test only once.

Once you have received your score, please use the chart below to find the appropriate course to enroll in:

= 101

151-250

= 102

251-300

= 201

301-350

= 202

351+

= 225 or 226
