Michelle is responsible for strategic oversight of the Colleges total compensation plans, HR policies, employee relations, recruitment and selection programs for administrative staff, payroll processes, employment tax and other regulatory employment compliance practices.

Tabatha Spinner

Director of Human Resources

Tabatha directly supervises the HR Generalist and HR Administrator and oversees workers compensation, annual benefits open enrollment, and benefits strategy. Tabatha serves as an expert resource to staff and faculty on all benefits, manages accommodation requests and conducts exit surveys.

Jasmine Soto

Manager of HR Operations

Jaz oversees student employment, including onboarding of student workers, posting of open student worker positions, and is a trusted resource for student worker supervisors. Jaz partners with other HR team members and other HWS departments to identify opportunities for process improvement and support implementation.

Jennifer Hughes

HR Generalist

Jennifer is responsible for onboarding of new hires (formal offer letters, background checks), is the first point of contact for staff and faculty questions related to benefits, administers the tuition assistance program, posts all open positions, and provides general support to the HR team.

Morgan Dianetti

HR Administrator

Morgan is the first point of contact for all staff and faculty questions related to payroll. She functions as the backup to the Payroll Manager, facilitates New Hire Orientation, is responsible for leave administration (FMLA, PFL, STD & LTD), processes unemployment claims and invoices in UniMarket and fulfills all employment verification requests.

Brian Shaffer

Payroll Manager

Brian is responsible for payroll processing for all faculty, staff and student workers, payroll taxes, and W2’s.
