The Arts Collective is an effort to unite creative energy at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. We welcome everyone and anyone who enjoys the beauty of life. From poets to painters, to art connoisseurs, we represent everyone who thinks outside of the box. Arts Collective Club has been long collaborated with the Architecture Society Club in holding many of the major art-related events on campus. The collaborated groups, recently renamed as “The Collective”, have attracted more than 200 club members with majors in art, architecture and beyond. Our club has been working closely with all faculty members from the Art and Architecture Department, and they have been participating actively with students in many of the activities.
Mission Statement:Arts Collective Club aims at expanding the passion for making art outside the Art and Architecture Department and bringing the HWS art culture to the main campus and to the City of Geneva. We are also hoping to make the club activities a fun and complementary part of students’ regular academic life and to foster the connections between faculties and students.
