On leadership
I think it was first at William Smith that I realized that people don't fall into positions of leadership; they take the opportunities available to them to become leaders.

On the coordinate system
Not so much on the academics but from a leadership perspective, the coordinate system encouraged me to hold leadership roles that I might not have otherwise

I am currently President of KS&R, a custom market research company headquartered in Syracuse, N.Y., employing 350+ people and recently listed as #41 on the Honomichl list of the Top 50 market research companies in the United States.
