What's the status of ... The William Smith Centennial Center for Leadership?
As of March 28, 2007, William Smith alumnae have given $12.5 million toward Campaign for the Colleges. Of this amount, $5.2 million has been raised for the $8 million Centennial Center for Leadership, which will be housed at 603 South Main Street. A lead gift of $1 million from Cynthia Gelsthorpe Fish ’82 has enabled the Colleges to begin design plans for the new Center.
“Through the campaign, plans for new buildings and further renovations promise to broaden the liberal arts even more for students, expanding on an education that already is rated as among the best in the nation. I look forward to the future of the Colleges and to helping Hobart and William Smith reach a level of excellence never before achieved.”
