CAPITAL PROJECTS
Campaign for the Colleges addresses several pressing facilities needs, including a center for performing arts, renovation and expansion of Scandling Center, the William Smith Centennial Center for Leadership and enhancements to athletics facilities.
ENDOWMENT
Comprising almost 41 percent of the campaign’s financial goal, the endowment provides important support for scholarships, internships and endowed professorships, and ensures the future of the distinctive programs offered at Hobart and William Smith.
OUTCOMES
Several facilities goals were achieved during the advanced-giving stage of the campaign, including the creation of the Finger Lakes Institute, which promotes research and education about the Finger Lakes and surrounding environments.

National Kickoff in NYC
A gala evening at Lincoln Center in New York City launched Campaign for the Colleges nationally on Sept. 21, 2006. More than 450 people attended the event.
Campus Launch on November 4th
More than 1,500 supporters gathered in Geneva on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006 for a grand campaign celebration.
