When can I train?

Our trainers do their best to accommodate your schedule with theirs so you can meet at a time that is convenient for you. You can communicate your schedule on your client profile and the trainer will discuss it with you during the consultation.

What if I have health issues or other concerns?

It is strongly recommended each person fill out a client profile, which will be given to you by the trainer after initial contact. This will give the trainer information concerning some of your background, exercise likes and dislikes, schedule, goals and allow you to communicate any health concerns. The trainer will discuss any health problems with you and if necessary obtain a doctors medical clearance before you start, so they know best how to guide you through training.

What if I need to miss a session?

As long as you communicate 12 hours in advance with your trainer you are still guaranteed that session and will not lose it. If you do not show up you will lose that session.

What if I’m late for a session?

Your trainer will wait 15 minutes and if you arrive within that time frame you have until your originally scheduled end time to complete your workout.

Can I train with a friend?

Groups of no more than two people are allowed at a cost of 20.00 per person per hour. However, do to the busyness and space availability at the Bristol Fieldhouse there may be certain hours of the day where group training is not permissible.

How qualified are the trainers?

All of our trainers are certified by a nationally recognized and professional certification organization as well as have proven experience in the field. Each one continues their education to keep their certification up to date, are CPR and AED certified and work in conjunction with the Fieldhouse Director and Assistant Director to give professional services to all patrons.

Is there some way to measure my progress?

If you purchase a package, pre and post assessments are recommended and are included as a part of your PT package. They may include body measurements, fitness and cardio tests, and flexibility tests. These assessments are determined by you and your trainer based on your health and your goals.

What about nutrition?

If you would like guidance and accountability with your eating habits our trainers can help you evaluate your eating and make appropriate suggestions within the guidelines established by the USDA’s choosemyplate.gov and within the scope of practice from their training. They are not allowed to give specific meal plans or “diets.” They will provide you with support and information to help you make the appropriate and balanced dietary choices that you both agree is necessary for your specific needs.

How long do I have to use my sessions?

All single sessions must be used within 3 months of the purchase date. All packages do expire after 6 months of the purchase date. Sessions purchased are non-refundable.
