Pass the Plate

food pantry

Welcome to Pass the Plate, the campus community pantry at Hobart and William Smith Colleges!

Pass the Plate is a collaborative effort to address the very real issue of food insecurity right here on campus. Since the grand opening in January 2018, Pass the Plate provides food and personal care item assistance to any member of the immediate HWS community. Operated through the Office for Spiritual Engagement, the pantry is open to all with no background or financial checks – only a valid HWS ID is required.

You can find the latest information on Pass the Plate on our Facebook (HWSEngage), Instagram (passtheplatehws), or Twitter (@hwsfoodpantry) pages. Check often for special or last minute donations of perishable food, as well as the addition of open hours. The pantry is located in Demarest 012 (1st floor). Any questions can be directed to Jenn Grillo Tufano, pantry coordinator, at x3671 or Want to volunteer? Please let Jenn know!
