Warren Hunting Smith Library
From a single search box you can now search across not only the Library's physical collections, but many of our most comprehensive full-text and citation databases as well. This single cross-search functionality will make it easier to access information in the Library's resources - a powerful aid to research and an effective way to leverage some of the lesser-known but rich databases to which we subscribe. In addition to this powerful new search tool, we have upgraded the Library's website making many of the most used and requested services more visible and easier to access, including new single sign-on functionality for circulation and ILL.
The success of the Learning Commons and the evolving needs of our diverse student population have challenged us to think differently about the traditional reference desk. In response, we have created a dedicated consultation room for those looking for research help. This new area provides a focused space for a conversation and is designed to work for both individual and group consultations. The consultation room's proximity to the circulation desk will also provide a single service point for those seeking Library help.
