The Colleges do not supplement the cost of retiree medical plans, however, we coordinate with providers to offer a retiree medical plan with group rates. Retiree medical plans are offered through MVP and Aetna. The health care market has created many cost effective options for retiree medical coverage. During the 2021 calendar year retirees are encouraged to meet with representatives from Relph Benefit Advisors (RBA) to identify another medical plan to meet their individual needs. RBA can assist with researching plans that meet your needs, your preferred price range, and can help you enroll in Medicare supplemental plans.

Effective January 1, 2022 these plans will no longer be available through Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
