An accrual rate is established for hourly employees to earn vacation time on the number of hours paid by the Colleges to the employee. Beginning with the first day of work, vacation time is earned on each hour paid (worked and paid time off), up to 40 hours per week at the following hourly accrual rates. Vacation time will be paid at the employee's regular straight time hourly rate. At the time of employment termination, the bank of earned, unused hours will be paid to the employee. Changes to accrual rates will be adjusted in the payperiod following the employee's anniversary date.
