Conflict of Interest DisclosureS

In order to comply with Federal regulations, Hobart and William Smith Colleges have a responsibility to manage, reduce, or eliminate any actual or potential conflicts of interest (COI) that may be presented by a financial interest of an Investigator. The Colleges therefore require that Investigators disclose any Significant Financial Interest that would reasonably appear to be directly and significantly affected by an actual or potential conflict of interest in relationship with a sponsored project.

If you are submitting a proposal to a Public Health Service (PHS) agency (e.g., NIH), read the Public Health Service (PHS) Financial Conflict of Interest Policy for HWS Researchers in full, complete the PHS COI disclosure form and return this form directly to the Office of Grants (do not route this confidential form with your proposal authorization form).

If you are submitting a proposal to any other federal agency, read the Conflict of Interest Policy for HWS Researchers in full, complete the COI disclosure form and return this form directly to the Office of Grants (do not route this confidential form with your proposal authorization form).
