Sponsored Programs supports faculty in their efforts to obtain external funding for research and other scholarly activities. The Director of Sponsored Programs is responsible for the administration and coordination of faculty grant and fellowship proposals, and for the non-financial post-award administration of programs once they are awarded.
Faculty are encouraged to contact Sponsored Programs when planning and preparing external grant applications. Staff will review proposals and budgets to ensure that they comply with internal and external policies and guidelines. Preliminary draft proposals are welcome. In the post-award phase, the Director reviews and accepts sponsored agreements, and serves as institutional liaison with sponsors.
