William Smith Soccer - 2013 Division III National Champions!!

William Smith Team Soccer Camp focuses on providing a quality learning experience in an environment where a small number of campers allow for the maximum individualized attention and interaction between the coaching staff and the players. William Smith’s tradition of excellence places it among the elite women’s intercollegiate teams, irrespective of the level of play. With a Division III record 30 NCAA tournament appearances, William Smith Soccer has captured two national championships (1988, 2013) and appeared in the national semifinals on 11 occasions (1987, 1988, 1993, 1995, 1997, 2002, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2019). The 2019 Heron soccer team went 21-2-1, captured its 13th consecutive Liberty League Championship and gave up only seven goals all season. The program has produced 50 NSCAA All-Americans, 123 NSCAA All-Region selections, and 169 All-Liberty League picks.

Head Coach Aliceann Wilber
One of the winningest coaches in collegiate soccer, Aliceann Wilber has guided the William Smith program from its inception in 1980 to the 1988 and 2013 National Championships and beyond. With a career record of 593-137-59, Wilber has more victories than any coach in NCAA Division III women’ soccer history. In 2003, she became the first woman to receive the NSCAA’s Bill Jeffrey Award for outstanding lifetime achievement. She has also been the Division III National Coach of the Year in 1987, 1988, 1991, 2008 and 2013.
