The Office of Communications will work with you to create a design solution that meets your needs, fits your budget and arrives on time. Once the form at left has been submitted, a member of the Communications staff will be in touch to discuss your request.

Poster Requests: please give 2 weeks advance notice from the date poster is to be distributed.

Supporting Material Requests: for programs, invitations, brochures and other supporting materials, please allow 3 weeks advance notice for items printed at a commercial printer. Please allow 2 weeks advance notice for items to be photocopied on campus.

Other Requests: for all other booklets, magazines or more extensive brochures requiring printing at an outside commercial printer, please allow 4 weeks advance notice from the date you need it in hand.

These are minimum lead times. The more lead time, the more attention can be given to the project. Sometimes institutional priorities will affect scheduling of projects, as scheduling is not always in order of deadline or request date.

Advance notice: complete information (text provided via e-mail in MS Word format, photos, art)

Photos: Actual photo or slide is preferable. If you're providing a scanned image for print, it must be 300 dpi at actual size being used. We can also use our extensive library of HWS images.

Outside printers: generally require 10 days for completion of job. Outside printing is highly recommended for quantities of 250, 500 or more.
