Stuart F. Pierson '65, a defense litigator, has joined Morvillo LLP, a boutique White Collar litigation law firm with offices in New York and Washington, D.C., according to a press release published on Digital Journal. Pierson serves as counsel in the Washington, D.C. office.
"Pierson, who graduated from Hobart College and Duke University School of Law, began his legal career with the Justice Department and then served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney. Since entering private practice, he has focused on White Collar and government investigations, civil litigation and media law. He has been recognized in the field of White Collar criminal defense by The Best Lawyers in America."
The firm's co-founder, Richard J. Pierson earned a B.A. in history and philosophy from Hobart College. As a student, he was a member of the football and wrestling teams, served as class president and was a member of the Interfraternity Council. He was inducted into the Druids, Orange Key and Chimera.
