On Saturday, March 23, the Wine Symposium of the Finger Lakes will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Colleges.
Aimed at wine enthusiasts, the Wine Symposium of the Finger Lakes 2013 will be an exquisite wine and food experience.
Attendees will learn from and taste wines alongside international experts and, in the process, learn about the Finger Lakes American Viticultural Area (AVA) in the context of the world’s key wine producing regions.
This inaugural event will include a structured tasting on the principles of pairing food and wine as well as seminar programs by acclaimed industry experts that focus on white and red cool-climate wines.
A celebration of the excellence of the region’s grape growers and winemakers, the Wine Symposium of the Finger Lakes includes the inaugural Finger Lakes AVA Riesling Challenge wine competition.
