Music, Meditation and Munchies: Celebrating London

On Wednesday, Nov. 7, Music, Meditation and Munchies will celebrate the music of London at 12:15 p.m. in St. John's Chapel.

Works by two important British composers--Herbert Howells felt a strong connection with the Tudor composer, Thomas Tallis and composed Master Tallis’ Testament. Program will also include Howells’ Psalm Prelude, Op 32 No.1 and “Greensleeves” by Ralph Vaughan Williams.

Meditation by Assistant Professor of English Rob Carson.

Each program features organ music played by Mary Ann Hamilton, Colleges Organist as well as special guests. Spoken meditation or poetry will complement the music each month and dessert will be served following each program. All are welcome and invited to bring a lunch. The series is held from September-December and from February-May.
