Why did you choose Hobart and William Smith Colleges? I chose HWS because I had heard a lot of great things about the school from students I attended high school with. Also, when I visited the campus, I loved the atmosphere and all of the opportunities offered as majors/minors.

How do you stay connected to the Colleges? I stay connected to the Colleges by visiting the WHWS Radio Station page, the HWS Facebook page as well as the HWS Psychology page on Facebook.

What makes the Colleges special? The Colleges are a special place they allow students to have freedom exploring and combining academic interests. Also, the focus around community engagement allows students to give back to Geneva and become a part of the community.

Why do you give back to HWS? I give back to HWS because I felt very supported throughout the four years I attended school there. Whether it is the support academically, financially, etc., support of all types has been given to me.

What are your goals as a Regional Network volunteer? My goal as a volunteer is to continue to keep the line of communication open and constant between alumni and the Colleges. I want people to know that the Colleges are still looking to be involved and supportive past graduation

What advice would you give to an incoming or current HWS student? My advice to current HWS students is to find your niche. Having a good group of friends makes a big difference. Also staying involved in extracurricular clubs is a great way to keep yourself involved and discover new interests.
