Innovation Fest

What is it?

Innovation Fest is a regional event for Hobart and William Smith Colleges students as well as area college students sponsored by the Centennial Center. Defined simply, innovation is creativity implemented. Join us as we break down the elements of innovation in an exciting one-day professional development conference. Under our theme, Thinking, Creating, Doing, the Centennial Center will steer a set of dynamic workshops with topics that include problem-solving, idea generation, pitching and presenting, strategic decision-making, creative thinking and affecting and managing change.

When is it?

November 16th, 2019, 9:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

What will I learn?

Participants will leave with a sense that innovation is a compelling process and that these skills are relevant to many industries today. Designed for any major, students will get to craft their own conference experience by choosing from an array of nearly 25 different workshops. Presenters will include faculty and staff from varies institutions along with industry experts and community members.

Who is eligible?

Any current HWS student can register, and ALL majors and levels of experience are welcome. We also invite members of the community and area college students to register to participate in the Centennial Center’s Innovation Fest.
