The German Club brings together students at the InterCultural Affairs (ICA) House to celebrate the culture of German-speaking Europe and beyond. Club meetings are dynamic, reflecting the interests of its members, so meetings consist of music exchanges of contemporary German-language music, to conversations about German cars, to celebrations of holidays (with yummy food!), to movie screenings, to field trips to local German restaurants. As a member, you can help steer the club activities! The club also tackles contemporary political issues and invites teaching assistants, exchange students, and professors on campus to help inform our community about the goings-on in Europe. We invite everyone to participate in our activities! The Club also helps to organize the regular “Stammtisch” German language hour at the Cellar Pub, where the first drink is on the German Department! So come and learn some German and enjoy some Kaffee und Kuchen!

To be placed on the German Club’s email list which offers updates on club events, please email club president Lauren Carr at
